COVERED / SECURED LOAD RULE

EFFECTIVE July 1, 2009

Rule:                “Vehicles or containers being used for the collection and transportation of solid waste (including garbage, refuse, rubbish, similar discarded solid or semi-solid materials, or other materials deemed solid waste by Agency, including but not limited to materials resulting from industrial, commercial, and domestic activities.) shall be covered or secured in a manner to prevent blowing or loss of material. When spillage does occur, the material shall be picked up immediately by the collector or transporter and returned to the vehicle or container and the area properly cleaned.”

FEE of $25 per vehicle in violation of the above referenced rules.
