Landfill Rate Information:

There is a minimum charge of $8.00 for the first 360 lbs of waste. Any weight over the 360 lbs. graduates up to the $44.00 per ton rate. Example- 1000 lbs of waste will be $22.00 per ton. Uncovered / Unsecured Loads coming into CCASWA are subject to an additional $25 fee.

Citizen's Convenience Public Drop-Off Area (PDO)

For the same cost as utilizing the regular landfill facility, residents in pick-up trucks, cars, vans, and SUVS may use the Public Drop-off Area MONDAY-FRIDAY ONLY. Weigh across the scale as normal. Signs will direct you to the quonset building on the east side of the property (former Bio Reactor Area). This is covered area on cement. No mud and less exposure to bad weather. Unload your waste on the cement. Return to the scale, reverse of the route you took, weight out, pull off the scale, and come in pay. Remember a few rules do apply: NO SHINGLES or LARGE LOADS OF BUILDING MATERIALS, NO POWDERS, and NO TRAILERS. All materials prohibited from going to the landfill are also prohibited from the Public Drop-off Area. Stop into or call the office for more information.

No Scavenging is allowed in the landfill or recycling drop off area.                                                                                                                                                       

Children and pets must stay in vehicles at all times while at the landfill site.                                                                                                                                                          

No Hazardous Materials are accepted in the landfills.                                                                                                                                                                                               

Visit the RCC portion of this site, regarding household hazardous waste.                                                                                                                                                               

No liquids of any type can be disposed of in the landfill.

 

Rubble:

 All residents and businesses will be charged $5.00 per ton for the following materials: Concrete, Concrete Blocks, Black Top, Solid Fill, Brick, and Sand. Large pieces must be less then one cubic foot, that one person can lift.
